Want to stop iPhone speaker buzz? Grab a Red Bull!

Table of Contents

If you have an iPhone and have had it around unshielded speakers, chances are you’ve had to deal with that horrible noise that the two make when in close proximity to one another.

Thankfully, one guy with some free time on his hands has solved this problem by building his own “iPhone Red Bull anti-interference shield”.

Basically all you have to do is cut open a Red Bull can, shape it around your iPhone dock, and attach it, to affectively shield your iPhone from the speakers preventing the horrid buzzing noise.

The creator of the project has provided detailed instructions on how to build your own right here.

Thanks to Jeff for sending this in.

I would imagine it will work with any can made up of the same material as the Red Bull can – but the Red Bull can is sized perfectly for this.
