Like the nifty “parallax” effect where the icons float over the background on your iPhone’s home screen? Here are 10 parallax wallpapers that take full advantage of that effect.
I remember hearing so much about the parallax wallpapers in iOS 7 before it was released. Videos of beta users showing it off were all over YouTube and Vine, and Apple itself posted lots of information and vids showing how it worked. But when iOS 7 was released, I was kinda surprised that the effect was so subtle. I’d expected a lot more movement over those backgrounds than what we ended up with. Pictures with greater depth — such as “tilt-shift” pictures — work best, really showing off the full parallax effect.
Here are ten hi-res wallpapers that convey greater depth to enhance that effect. Click an image to download. Note: A few of these images have been edited for size and/or color saturation, but tilt-shift effects were applied by their original owners.

But the Amsterdam picture is defenitly not a Dutch city and absolutely not Amsterdam. It look more like a German town.
