OS X Quicktip: Unlock Pre-made AppleScripts

Table of Contents

quicktip1.jpgYou may not know it, but there are already a ton of AppleScripts on your Mac, just waiting for you to use them. All you have to do is know where to find them.

Go into your Applications folder>AppleScript and click on the AppleScript Utility

Now select “Show Script Menu in menu bar”

Now you’ll see in your menu bar there will be the little AppleScript icon. Click on it, and you’ll have a variety of scripts you can use without knowing a thing about writing AppleScript. (Although you should really take the time to learn…it’s awesome).
