Wood MacBook Overlay Makes Your Laptop Look all Wooden and Stuff

Table of Contents

While my father spends his time building beautiful cabinets out of wood, I spend most of my time working with metal. I prefer welding and grinding to the relatively clean woodworking process. My wife on the other hand, is a kitchen designer, and as such, knows every species of wood out there by sight. It’s a spectacular talent if you’re into that kinda thing.

Well, I may not work with wood very often, but I do like the look of it. For me, I’m all about the darker woods – something about it being more masculine I guess. That’s why I really like this Walnut MacBook skin from Recover. It is ultimately what its title describes: it’s a adhesive skin for your MacBook that gives the appearance of a walnut wood finish. It’s not quite clear in the desctiption, but I think this may actually be a wood veneer product. At least that’s what I get when I read this in the description:

Please understand that no two pieces of wood are identical. That being said, no two Recover wooden skins will be exactly alike. Product photos on this website should be used solely as a guide to what a product should look like, not as an exact representation. Rest assured, your skin will be 100% unique and 100% awesome.

Sounds like veneer to me. Either way, it’s a neat product, and if my wife had a MacBook, I’m sure we’d be purchasing it. If you like wood, maybe this is a good option for you.
