iPad 2 On Sale Tomorrow, Apple Posts Guided Tour Videos

Apple’s iPad 2 — in white and black — will be on sale tomorrow. The next generation tablet will be available from Apple’s online and brick & mortar retail stores.

According to an email sent by Apple, each of its 236 retails stores will sell the iPad 2 at 5 PM local time. This falls in line with previous major product launches like the first generation iPhone which went on sale later in the day as Apple Stores closed down to set up kiosks and store displays. If you purchase an iPad from Apple’s retail store, you will be offered a free personal setup service. The new service helps new users migrate their mail accounts and other personal information.

The iPad 2 will also be available at AT&T, Best Buy, Target, Verizon Wireless, Walmart and select Apple Authorized retailers. If you want to avoid the lines or having to go to a retail outlet after work to purchase an iPad, Apple will be accepting online orders as soon as 1 AM PST tomorrow.

Apple published 14 guided tours on its site to help new users become familiar with the iPad 2. The videos highlight the FaceTime, Mail, Safari, iBooks, Videos, Photos, Find My iPad, iPod, iTunes/App Store, Maps, AirPlay, Garageband and iMovie Apps.
