Spend Money, Get Apps, Give to a Good Cause

I’ve never been to Haiti, but that doesn’t matter. The atrocities that the country has seen over the last few weeks has been intense, and it’s important to help them out in any way possible. I don’t have a ton of disposable income though, so sometimes I question how much I could realistically give, without causing problems on my end as well. Besides, how much will $5 help?

Turns out, it can help a lot, particularly when everyone gives just a little bit, because it all adds up. So how does any of this have anything to do with the Mac?

Today, and today only, if you go to Indie Relief and purchase any one of a variety of Mac and iPhone apps, all of the proceeds will be donate to Haiti. There are a ton of hot apps in here to choose from, including Things, Twitterific, Postbox, Acorn and tons of others, making it difficult to choose just one. If you’ve been putting off making a software purchase, now’s the time to do it and do something good at the same time.
