Ping hasn’t received the response Apple has hoped for when it sent an email to users last month reminding them the social network still exists. To entice users, Ping users will have access to an exclusive Michael Jackson song
According to TUAW the song “Much Too Soon” will be streamed for free until next Thursday.
“Much Too Soon” was written at the time of Thriller. Michael always liked the song but never found the right home for it; here it finds its place as the bittersweet closing to the stellar collection.
This could be a last ditch effort by Apple to attract more interest in Ping which has steadily declined in popularity and was deemed a flop by Business Insider.
