Apple and Snow Patrol team up for “Interactive Album”

Table of Contents

I’ve never heard a note of the band “Snow Patrol”, but I’ll be checking out their next album, “A Hundred Million Suns” when its released in October. The band is teaming up with Apple to release an “interactive album” for iPhone and iPod Touch.

According to the band users will be able to access content like the lyrics to songs, additional images and art, plus video – all from the iPhone/iPod Touch screen. There is no word on if this will be an Application in the App store, or something in the traditional music store – but either way, it has my interest piqued.

The album is coming in October. You can find out more about “Snow Patrol” right here.

  1. They’re a great band… they’ve been popular in England for a while. Check out their song “chasing cars”.
This sounds like a cool concept, I’ll definitely be checking it out.
