Well, forget having to wait a few days, Apple has formally issued invitations for a special event on September 9th. The title of the event is “Let’s Rock” – and it’s happening at 10:00 am, one week from today.
The event will user in the new line of iPods. This is another confirmation from Kevin Rose’s video post from late last month. If his source continues to pan out we can expect slightly redesigned iPod Touches and price drops across the board to make the iPod lines more competitive to the price of the iPhone.
