Communication is of central importance in any relationship. It doesn’t matter whether it’s business related, personal, romantic, between parent and child, from teacher to student, or from nation to nation … relations between humans keep the world in motion.
Poor communication kills progress, and great communication expedites it. Thanks to technology, world communication has improved exponentially. Globalization has redefined the way that the world looks and operates today.
World trade happens at a faster clip than ever, and because of it, economies grow … and others collapse. Whatever the case, though, communication is the backbone to social progress. Without it, everything falls into an inert heap.
Though new technologies are being developed every day, one company unquestionably leads the planet in design and innovation with regard to communication. That firm is Apple.
The stats show that Apple sold almost 80 million units in the first quarter of 2016. Trends for the company suggest the numbers will continue to climb, and as the holidays come around the corner and Apple plans to release the iPhone 7, that totals will undoubtedly set new records.
So it’s fair to say most of us are using our smartphones and tablets to communicate. It’s the preferred way to communicate, but neither platform has a leg up on the market when it comes to typing long emails, or communicating in other modes that need to be available through a slightly different platform.
Knowing Apple, however, the company will make a way where there currently is no way. So the chances are you can use the following three ways to make communicating from your iPhone or Tablet easier.
1. Get A Keyboard
Apple touchscreen keyboards are great for a lot of things. They’re easy to use, and when you only send texts or messages that don’t exceed more than a couple of paragraphs in length, the interface more than does the trick.
However, if you own a tablet and you’re a student who has to write a paper, a business person who routinely conducts your work via long emails, or you’re a blogger looking to generate income out of your writing, this interface isn’t the most convenient for you. For this reason, you should get yourself a keyboard that you can use just like a conventional keyboard that connects to your device.
It’s an easy fix and you have your pick of keyboards to choose from.
2. Use All the Apps
Apple is famous for coining the phrase “There’s an app for that.” And it’s typically true.
Even if it’s not the most convenient thing to craft an email to a colleague from your tiny iPhone, or to study a design so you can approve it before it goes to print, there are apps available that will help you to get the word out and the tasks done quickly and easily. Browse through the options, and select the app that will do the trick for you today.
3. Get the Extensions
Sometimes an app isn’t enough to get the job done. Since you already have part of the technology needed to make great communication happen, however, it’s not that difficult to obtain the extensions that will enhance your experience.
Whether you’re a business who needs to arrange face time for large meetings, or you’re at a family reunion and you want to video chat with somebody across the planet who couldn’t make it to the party, get yourself a projector; or a microphone, or another cool piece of technology that integrates perfectly with your iPhone or Tablet.
Apple lives for integration. The firm wants everything to link back to its products, so they’ll do everything they can to improve the way nearly everyone in the world communicates with one another.
