I’m a car guy, and as such, I’ve seen many different things getting machined over the years. I love watching a lathe or CNC machine doing its work, and I could just sit there for hours watching a cool part get whittled out of aluminum. It’s fascinating to me.
Which explains why I like this case from KarasKustoms. It’s made from a few pieces of polished or anodized aluminum, and clamps down the iPhone, protecting it from all sides. It also isn’t too expensive either, at just $39.
Another bonus: turns out I know someone who lives near their shop, so I might just get one myself and do a little hands-on testing. Nothing wrong with getting my hands on the goods and seeing what they look and feel like. Updates if it happens.
