Now that the iPhone 3G has been released, Apple has started airing a series of commercials that are very similar to the original iPhone launch commercials. These ads show off the phone doing things “really fast”.
Here’s the Australian version:
I saw a US version of this ad during The Daily Show last night, and with a quick YouTube search I found a version in Italian, and a similar one in Japanese. A UK version of the ad was online, but has been removed, and there is a US version as well, but I couldn’t find a good copy of it online.
Apple has yet to post anything about the new ads on their US site. I love these kinds of ads that show off what the device can do – now I want to see one about the App Store.

Great commercial, but perhaps, it is a little deceptive (I guess it is a commercial after all) because 3G isn’t that fast for me. Of course that could be the quality of the Rogers 3G network in Canada.
@Jeremy
I have to agree. My wi-fi doesn’t fly along as fast as that commercial – much less the 3G network.
