Apple has released the iPod Touch/iPhone 1.1.4 firmware update, labeling it only as “bug fixes”. There is no official word just yet on what exactly it will fix – my hope is that it will correct the txt messaging problems that I’ve had since the 1.1.3 update.

In the Apple Developer’s Center there is still no iPhone SDK info as of this writing. Apple still technically has until the end of the week to release the SDK on schedule, and so far, no formal announcement has been made.

The firmware update clocks in at 161 mbs – so hopefully there is something interesting in here. I’m installing it now.

thanks to rich for pointing this out.

  1. Yes the firmware clocks in at 161 megs… but you have to realize that its 2-4kb more or less than the 1.1.3 firmware (I don’t remember exactly). So, not surprisingly, there is nothing notable about it.

  2. Hey Michael,
Just wonderinig my download was 165.5mb, Did i get something extra? If it helps I’m running the windows as my OS.
