In more iPhone hackery news, an iPhone Playstation Emulator has been released. Now, normally I don’t spend a lot of time talking about hack apps, but this one is significant because it appears that the iPhone is doing a pretty darn good job running Playstation One quality 3D graphics.

If it’s powerful enough to do that with some homebrew emulation, how much could it do in the hands of professional developers? It’s a promising start, and I can’t wait to see what kind of official games are released for the iPhone and iPod Touch after the SDK hits in 2008.

You can find out more about the emulator here.
