There’s a new option in radio – or there will be on January 21st. It’s called FlyTunes, and it’s coming out of the gate taking shots at satellite radio.
The new service will have an iPhone specific interface that can even allow you to timeshift your music and store as much as 30 minutes of music when you’re in a non-streaming area. The service claims to be superior to satellite radio because it offers more channels and is completely free.
The ad-supported service will officially begin on the 21st, and I have to say, I’m very interested to hear the quality of this thing.
You can check out FlyTunes when it launches on FlyTunes.fm

Hey — Flytunes has increased the channels available to their users to 160! And if that isn’t enough for you, you can always use your flytunes account on accuradio & pick from their 300+ channels.
