Best Buy to join AT&T and Apple in selling iPhone 3Gs

Table of Contents

Starting on September 7th 2008, Apple Store and AT&T Stores won’t be the only places to stand in line for an iPhone. On that day electronics retailer “Best Buy” will begin selling the device in all 970 of their stores.

This new agreement has caused many to question whether “Best Buy” will actually have any product to sell since Apple and AT&T have been continuously out of stock. Apple, of course, refuses to comment on the matter beyond stating “We continue to ship iPhones daily.”

Shawn Score, president of Best Buy’s mobile division, feels confident, however. He told USA Today, “We think we’ll have a good supply for our customers.”

The Best Buy deal is an exclusive for the retail chain through Christmas.
