    This is a great functionality but I’m certain an older version of iOS was still more useful. When you held down “e” for a second, for instance, the keyboard would default to the most commonly used accented form, i.e. “é” or “ö” if you held down “o”, etc. In this latest version you have to move your finger over to “é” to get this character. In other words, I don’t see the point of the keyboard defaulting to the same letter when you hold down a letter.

    Sorry, but the Franc symbol isn’t offered, since the Franc is no longer in use (since February 2002, I think). Great article, though.
