iPhone 3G Reviews pop up in USA Today, WSJ, and NY Times

The “big guns” of Apple reviews have chimed in on the iPhone 3G this morning, with reviews appearing in USA Today, the Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times.

Surprisingly, the general consensus seems to be the same. Everyone likes the faster 3G speed, but they don’t care for the shorter battery-life because of it. All three tend to agree that its a good upgrade, but that it may not be necessary for you if you have an original iPhone. Still, positive reviews from major media outlets is a good sign that the iPhone 3G has it right .

You can check out the reviews by Walt Mossberg (Wall Street Journal), David Pogue (New York Times), and Edward Baig (USA Today) at their respective links.
