Today, virtually everyone has a smartphone and uses apps. For Android devices, people can download apps via the Google Play Store. This store has thousands of apps to choose from, including games, social media, productivity apps, casinos and entertainment. But which apps are the most popular? In this article, we look at six of the most popular Android apps downloaded and used in Poland.

There is no surprise that our first entry is TikTok. Out of all the Android apps in Poland, TikTok remains the most used and most popular by a considerable margin. This is the current trending social media app that has captured the imagination and talents of an entire generation.

The premise of TikTok is simple – you create and upload short videos about… well anything really. There are a wide range of artists, from people doing dance routines to lip-synching to music and makeup and DIY demonstrations.

Coin Master

Coin Master has taken the mobile gaming scene by storm, and it continues to be hugely popular in Poland. This game is all about building your village and raiding other players (including your friends!) to gain ridiculous amounts of coins. The game is incredibly addictive and fun to play but can also be hugely frustrating when you get raided in return!

Roblox is one of the top played games worldwide, and it is incredibly popular with kids and young teenagers. It is also hugely popular in Poland and regularly features in lists of top-grossing games and apps.

Many consider Roblox to be a knock-off of Minecraft, and indeed it does have similarities. However, it offers hundreds of different game modes and features and provides endless hours of chaotic entertainment. The developers continually make updates, and the game also has a huge community that works on creating mods and new game modes.

State of Survival: Zombie War

You may have seen an advert for this game – probably an unrealistic advert that actually bears no resemblance to the real title! Indeed, this is a trend that many game developers appear to be taking.

Regardless of their advertising strategies, State of Survival: Zombie War is one of the most popular zombie apocalypse games and is huge in Poland. On this game, players are thrown into a desolate shell of a world that is being ravaged by zombies. The aim is simple – to survive. You must build a team of survivors and upgrade their gear, weapons and equipment. You also have a base to upgrade, and you can go out on missions to collect supplies and build your community.

Rise of Kingdoms: Lost Crusade

Rise of Kingdoms: Lost Crusade is a typical base builder and strategy game. In this game, you take control of a fledgling empire and must build it up to be a global power. This involves creating different buildings for resource production, military production and for research.

This is just one aspect of the game, however. You also have a large open map that you can explore and expand your kingdom across. Of course, there is also a PVP part of the game in which you can attack other players and vie for control of regions. It’s pretty thrilling stuff and is also one of the most polished games of its genre.

There is no surprise that our last entry is a dating app. Today in modern society, the fabric of dating has completely changed. Instead of meeting face-to-face and speaking to people in bars or social venues, we instead swipe left or right on Tinder.

Indeed, Tinder is a global phenomenon and not just popular in Poland. It is a dating app that allows you to easily talk to and meet people who you are interested in. You can create a profile, upload photos and write a biography for prospective matches to read. You can then swipe left or right on other people’s profiles to try to find a match!

We hope you have found this article interesting. We expected to see more streaming services appear in this list such as Netflix, but surprisingly, the main contenders are games and social media platforms. There are plenty of other notable mentions that regularly top the Polish charts in terms of most used apps, including Brawl Stars, Fishdom, Candy Crush Saga and Empires & Puzzles: Match-3 RPG.
