Apple ads have always been brilliant, and to my knowledge, the company’s advertising group hasn’t stooped so low as to get back at their main competitor by creating ads that are meant to bash. From Your Verse to Strength, what I can see is that Apple ads are meant to inspire their customers, to tap into their (our) emotions.
Naturally, with the launch of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, new ads have been released; and yesterday, two new iPhone 6 ads were added to the roster, starting Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon – well, their voices at least.
The most recently released iPhone 6 ads are all about highlighting the features of the two new iPhones, mainly the cameras – and what you can do with them – and the size (of the iPhone 6 Plus, obviously). While I do think the two real-life friends had fun doing the voice overs for these ads, I have to admit that I wasn’t overly impressed with the videos. One would think that these two funny men would make rib-cracking ads, but maybe I was just expecting more.
Watch both iPhone 6 ads, and tell me if it’s just me.
