incase MacBook Pro Sleeve

For some reason, I love getting new laptop bags. I’m not sure if it’s an organization obsession of mine or what, but I have easily 5 bags to carry my MacBook Pro, and easily five different reasons why each one is the best. Recently though, I picked up a new bag for my MBP, this Nylon Sleeve from incase.

I’ve been a fan of incase and their products since I first bought a neoprene sleeve for my 13-inch MacBook when I was first getting into Macs. The fuzzy lined inside keeps the laptop nice and safe, plus it looks cool and artsy like I’m someone important like a designer or a writer.

I bought the graphite model, just like the one pictured above, and it has a nice, fuzzy, blue liner on the inside as well. The pockets on the front are a welcome improvement to the previous year’s model, and have a solid zipper that protects two pockets. It’s enough to hold my power supply, pens, USB drives, a pocket recorder, mouse and various display adaptors, which means it’s perfect to use when getting on a plane or going to the coffee shop. Now, I wouldn’t use it as an overnight bag or anything, but it is my go-to bag for the MacBook Pro, and that’s saying a lot for me.

Of course, you may be a backpack case guy, or a neoprene sleeve girl, and I respect your decisions. But for me – for now – this is a great case that works out pretty well.

  1. Good article!

I just got the new macbook pro 15-inch, so I will definitely need some protection for it, though I find the backpacks more suitable than suitcase style.
