WWDC sold out, over 5,000 attendees expected

For the first time ever, Apple’s World Wide Developer’s Conference has completely sold out. Apple was forced to stop selling tickets for the event, which will be held on June 9-11 due to concerns over space limitations.

If you were planning on attending and hadn’t purchased your ticket yet auction sites and scalpers may be your only alternative to attend the live event – but Apple has promised on its developer’s site that “You can still get all the great content from WWDC 2008. Session videos will be available to purchase on iTunes shortly after the conference. More details will be available soon.”
