airplay_video_boost01.jpgFort Lauderdale, FL (November 2, 2006) — XtremeMac today announced its next generation line of FM transmitters for iPod, called AirPlay Boost. AirPlay Boost features an external antenna designed to significantly increase signal strength for transmitting music from the iPod to an FM stereo. The product line includes models to fit the iPod with video and the iPod nano 2G.

AirPlay Boost is a wireless solution for playing music from an iPod through a home, car or portable stereo. By simply tuning the transmitter and an FM stereo to the same empty frequency, AirPlay Boost wirelessly transmits audio from the iPod to the stereo. Its on-screen tuning menu is simple to use and features three programmable station pre-sets for convenience. Airplay Boost is available in black or white for iPod with video, and in black or silver anodized aluminum for iPod nano 2G. Both versions will sell for a suggested retail price of $69.95.

AirPlay Boost is now available for pre-order via the XtremeMac website at www.xtrememac.com. It will begin shipping to Internet customers on November 20 and will be available in major retail outlets this holiday season.
