Aftenposten reports that German Student Geir Ove Hansen had an “old fashioned brawl” with a burglar that attempted to steal his Mac.
Geir had a very important paper due that afternoon that – had he failed to turn it in – would have been detrimental to his future.
So he had to stomp on the would be thief….
“I had a paper on my Mac that had to be delivered at noon today, so I had to get the machine back. I knocked him over as he was getting on a bike and there was a good old-fashioned brawl,” Hansen said.
If Hansen failed to deliver his paper on German literature he would have been unable to take his exam at the University of Bergen.
Hansen grabbed the computer and wouldn’t let go, and finally the thief gave up, making off with just a power cable.
“When I got back to my apartment I saw blood on my clothes. I wondered if it were his or mine. I think its mine, because I have some cuts and bruises after the fight and all the broken glass in the living room,” Hansen said.
He got medical attention after delivering his paper. The thief is still at large.
