Sinbad is a comedian that you may not have seen in a while, but in the 90s, he was one of my favorite stand-up comedians. He’s one of the few comedians that I could easily watch with my parents around, and I have to say, I even enjoyed some of his movies. That’s right, I’ll admit it, “Jingle All the Way” is one of my favorite Christmas movies…and he did a great job in it.
So why did I post this? Well…primarily because its a slower news day, and I like reaching back into the files to find some stuff you may not have seen. I literally almost ran into Sinbad this year at Macworld. I was coming up the escalator after the show floor had been closed for an hour or two and there was a very tall man in front of me. He stopped to look around and I was busy typing away on my iPhone and I almost hit him. I turned around and – BOOM! – Sinbad.
By the time I noticed it was him he was walking away toward his hotel – but when I found this from WWDC in 1999 I thought -MAN – this guy is a huge Machead. So, while this is certainly not his best material, I thought it was interesting.
