Troll Touch Brings Touch Screen To iMacs and MacBooks

November 12, 2009 by Lia Espina 1 Comment

No need to wait for the mythical Apple Tablet. You can enjoy touchsreen and multi-touch goodness  on your iMac or MacBook with the help of Troll Touch. Troll Touch, a Valencia, California based company that is known for selling resistive touch screens is offering their services to install touch screen displays on select Apple products and Dell monitors.

The touch screen devices are easy to install and can be installed over the existing panels. The touch screen device is then connected to the iMac or MacBook via a USB port.

Troll Touch touchscreens are available for the new 21.5 inch and 27 inch Apple iMac and the 13-inch unibody MacBook. They will be available for delivery come December 1. Troll Touch sells machines with pre-installed touch screen displays as well.

Price: $699 for the MacBook; up to $1,699 for the 27-inch internal iMac
