Earlier this week Lexcycle, makers of the popular Stanza iPhone ebook application, announced a partnership with Fictionwise, which could pose a serious threat to ebook rival eReader.
Well, today, Lexcycle has announced that the Stanza reader will now support the DRM riddled eReader format as well. So if you prefer the Stanza reader over the eReader application you now have additional options for your book purchases.
Don’t forget, however, that Stanza also supports free and open book formats as well – and there are thousands of older works that are available for free to download. I highly recommend “A Princess of Mars” by Edgar Rice Burroughs.
