Gone are the days of camping out for days in front of your friendly neighborhood Apple Store for the newest iPhone, but those who want to be the first still click away frantically to pre-order their unit. For those who pre-ordered the iPhone 6s, it won’t be till Friday that they’ll get theirs (earliest).
But this customer with the Twitter handle @MoonshineDesign got lucky when she received her pre-ordered Rose Gold iPhone 6 was delivered early. Happy Birthday to her!
Adrienne of San Diego, California is now enjoying her 15 minutes of fame (okay, probably a little bit longer) as she tweeted about her experience.
Not sure how this happened but my #iphone6s arrived early @ATT @apple pic.twitter.com/0hK1BETycl

That’s one cute puppy, isn’t it? Now here’s a tweet with the phone unboxed.

Naturally, she went full steam ahead and played with the Rose Gold iPhone 6s delivered early.
This is one pretty sharp video.

Another one.
#iphone6s videos are being compressed by @Twitter. I'll post more tomorrow. Here's the horizontal video #sanDiego pic.twitter.com/4q4gt2OgCO

So what happened here? AT&T, who slipped up (in Adrienne’s favor) with the shipping, seems to be ignoring the fact that it shouldn’t have happened. In fact, in reply to Adrienne’s original tweet, AT&T congratulated her.
@MoonshineDesign That’s awesome! And you have an adorable puppy! ? pic.twitter.com/TRd2XwdcIk

Now other AT&T customers who pre-ordered their phones want them NOW. LOL.
Will AT&T get in trouble for this?
