It’s that day of madness that we call Black Friday once again, and there’s certainly no lack of deals that one can find – both online and offline. If you’re looking for enticing Apple deals, you may opt to go to a brick-and-mortar store and brave the queues (and possibly aggressive customers), or you can go online and shop directly from the Apple Store.
Apple is offering selected products which, if you purchase them, will give you a gift card back. The amount of the gift card depends on the product that you buy. The giving back part is that, for your particular purchase, Apple will automatically donate to the Global Fund to support the fight against AIDS.
If you buy an iPad or iPhone, for example, you will receive a $50 gift card. If you’re going for an iPod or Apple TV, however, you’ll receive a $25 gift card. If you’re spending big today and going for an iMac or MacBook Pro/Air, then you’ll receive a $100 gift card. While you’re not exactly getting a discount, you probably won’t have any problem finding something to purchase with the gift card.
It’s not clear just how much Apple will donate, we all know that the company has been a staunch supporter of the fight against AIDS with its PRODUCT(RED) line.
On another note, it is worth emphasizing that the gift card you will get is a PRODUCT(RED) iTunes gift card, which you can use to purchase apps, movies, and in-app purchases.
