Software Spotlight: Feeder

Table of Contents

feeder.jpgIf it’s one thing that I’ve learned from the problems I’ve had getting the podcast delivered this week, it’s that I don’t know enough about RSS feeds.  Luckily, however, I found this solution from Reinvented Software.  Feeder is an application for building, editing, and publishing RSS feeds on OSX.

The interface is very similar to Apple Mail, and it is very easy to use.  I was able to build a new Apple Gazette Weekly feed in just a few minutes, and with FTP uploading directly in the application, not external apps were necessary to get the feed up and running.

If you manage a lot of RSS feeds…heck, even if you manage one and want a simple app to handle it…Feeder is well worth the $30 price of admission.

You can download a 15 day trial to give it a test drive by clicking here.
