Skype fans rejoice!
Not only has the team behind Skype listened to all of our little complaints about the Mac version of the Skype client and fixed them in this new version (2.6), they have also included several features that were previously Windows only, and added a brand new feature that is a Mac Exclusive (for the time being anyway) called Call Transfer.
With Call Transfer you can effortlessly Transfer any of your Skype calls to other Skype users.
The previously Windows Only feautres include:
– Join public chats
– Chat typing indicator – see when others are writing a message
– Call any Skype Prime premium services provider and pay with Skype credit
– Automatic Updates – get new features and updates without having to go to Skype’s website to download
– DTMF tones for automatic answering services available also during Skype-to-Skype calls
