The world of getting things done can be pretty monotonous at times, what with all of the date entering and following up. There are plenty of good apps for the iPhone that help you keep track of that giant to-do list, but none of them really do it with any flair. Turns out that now, there’s a new option.
It’s called Epic Win [iTunes Link], and it’s a GTD app for gamers. You assign a point value to every task that you need to accomplish, as well as a category. As you complete the tasks, you level up your character and then travel along a path. The further you go, the more loot you can gather, and the more levels you advance.
This is a cool way to follow the principles of the GTD system, without falling into a dull sleep of boring apps. Instead, try this one and have a bit of fun in the process. For $2.99, it’s pretty hard to beat.
