Analyst Predicts Leopard will generate $200 Million for Apple

apple-logo.jpgOn Friday, Bank of America hardware analyst Keith Bachman wrote in a note that Leopard could generate an extra $200 million in revenue for Apple, Inc. That figure is up from Tiger’s estimated revenue generation which was $135 million when the OS was released in 2005.

One of the main reasons he sights for the upswing? More users, of course. He estimates that Apple’s install base will be 22 million by the end of March. Up from 16 million when Tiger was launched.

Bachman continues to rate Apple stock a buy, with a price target of $107.
