Download Day – Firefox 3 Available Now

Today is a big day for the Mozilla foundation. They’re trying to set a Guinness World Record for the most software downloads in 24 hours. The software in question is Firefox 3, the first version of Firefox ever to be primarily built with Cocoa.
This version of Firefox also has drastically improved memory handling, and really screams on OS X. The new UI looks great as well. If you’re a fan of Firefox this is THE version of the software to get. Sure, not all of the extensions are updated just yet, but that’ll change soon enough.
Help Mozilla reach their World Record today, and help support one of the best browsers on the Mac (and certainly the best one on Windows). Click Here to download.

Thanks Eric . . . I was wondering why all of my computers were saying there was no update available.

As suspected, their site is non-responsive.

All three of my Macs and both PCs are giving me an error when I try to update. Why would anyone try to do a worldwide release and try to set a Guiness World Record for downloads with a major update / release??
