One of the easiest things about the Mac is installing an application. You just drag it to your Applications folder (in most cases) and you’re done. Uninstalling an app, however, can sometimes be more complicated. All you HAVE to do is drag it to the Trash Can, but sometimes there are elements associated with an application that will hang around filling up useful space.
That’s where AppDelete comes in. There are flashier programs that will do what AppDelete does…but AppDelete has one thing over them that they can’t compete with…AppDelete is FREE.
All you have to do is drag the app that you want to delete to the AppDelete bucket in your Dock. It will then ask you if you want to uninstall that application and all files associated with it. You tell it yes, and it creates a folder in your Trash Can with all the files in it. You can even undo the process if you make a mistake.
I like AppDelete a great deal, and have made it a regular addition to my Dock.
Take a look at it here.
