i hope it’s not, because that calendar doesn’t look too slick in my opinion. 😛
Looks a lot like GNOME to me…eurgh!
I got one few days ago and noticed the different look as well. I have a suspicion that one of the “top secret” new things is a new interface style. Maybe this is a hint to that.
Yeah, I agree that I hope that isn’t the actual new interface…I just thought the lack of Aqua look was worth noting.
The window shown in the invitation isn’t exactly feature-full, but at least one element of it will almost certainly make it to the new UI (if there is one) – the glassy, rounded selection. It’s not much of a change, though. I’m still banking on a system-wide switch to Helvetica.
…and hoping that window bevel doesn’t happen to all windows. Yikes!
Blimey! I think that’s loking a bit too deep. However if this is some sort of hint to a new interface design, it’s absolute cheese! Childish, unprofessional, low, low quality design. I think you need to look at apps like Aperture’s full screen mode for more of a hint of future UI design. But then again what do I know?
Perhaps this is a harbinger of things to come (as in the resolution independent display)?

Interesting. You may not have noticed, but the edge of the calendar window is very similar to the edge of the new Leopard X.
