This morning Apple has released a software update for OS X to enhance MobileMe compatibility on the desktop.

The Mac OS X Update For MobileMe is recommended for users running Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.4 and includes general system fixes that enhance your Mac for MobileMe.

  1. there is only one true iphone killer and that is the att network because that network really does kill the value of the iphone

  2. Hate to break it to you Drew but you don’t get any push support for Mac OS X. Only for iPhone and Web Interface. Leave it to Apple to leave out a key piece of hardware in their push services, although I could have seen this coming.

  3. Hmmm it doesn’t show anything on my Software Update, I’m running 10.5.4 and in the System Preferences there is still the .Mac icon….any ideas?

    I’m curious what you mean? I’m currently getting PUSH Support through MobileMe for my email, contacts and calendars. When I make changes to any calendar, email or contact on my Iphone it gets updated on my Mac – and vice versa. I’m not sure how that is NOT PUSH service, or which piece of the Apple hardware they left out of the equation, but it seems to work pretty well for me.
