Apple’s many products are huge sellers and bring a lot of attention to the company. One way, Apple has made Apple products more ubiquitous at the consumer level are the many Apple Stores that operate in many major cities all over the US (and in the rest of the world). Apple Stores are hip places where you can get your desired Apple product in an environment that celebrates all things Apple. Unfortunately, not all cities have Apple Stores. This means people who want to buy Apple products have no choice but to either online or shop at electronics stores and malls.

If you’re still hankering for that “Apple Store” experience even without an actual Apple Store in your area, you may be in luck. There are talks that Apple will begin opening up small Apple Stores inside the premises of Sam’s Club.

Sam’s Club is a member’s only warehouse club, and even if the image it evokes is bulk shopping, it does have a very nice electronics department that sells Apple products – iPhones, iPods, and iPads. With rumored negotiations with Apple, what consumers will see are store-in-store setups that will also begin selling Macs and Apple computers. Reportedly, a backup to the store-in-store concept would be for Sam’s Club to sell Apple laptops and desktops even without the mini stores.

Even though this is still officially just a rumor, there are a lot of evidence that suggests a partnership between Apple and Sam’s Club is not totally far-fetched. Apple already has a similar setup in many Best Buy outlets so the same setup in Sam’s Club is perfectly feasible.

9to5Mac has a picture of Apple’s in-store signage which confirms the white iPhone 4′s availability of Spring 2011. TUAW has also confirmed through independent reports that Apple is claiming Spring 2011 for the white iPhone 4′s release. However, the white iPhone has experienced a few technical issues, the most recent being overexposed photos.

AppleInsider has an account of an Italian man with a white iPhone who claimed to be testing the device for Apple. He told a Seattle news producer that the phone would launch in February next year in Europe and that Apple was having problems with overexposed photos.

The white iPhone 4 has been the subject of a delay after delay as Apple scrambles to fix production issues that prevent the phone from hitting retail stores. Problems such as discoloring and light leakage have plagued the white iPhone 4. Due to the eventual delays and increased demand, unofficial third party manufacturers started selling DIY replacement kits or parts that allowed anyone to swap out the case on an iPhone 4 to a white cover. However, Apple has been cracking down on the third party market and has made the iPhone 4 much more difficult to open.

I’ve been playing video games since the Atari 2600, and I have a real addiction to all things Mario. Seriously, I’ve even considered a tattoo on the subject. But apparently, Nintendo is a bit afraid of Apple. From Forbes:

Content. Ask Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime what gives Nintendo an edge and he’ll talk about content. And Nintendo needs all the edge it can get. Competitors are everywhere.

“It’s all about time,” Fils-Aime said during a stop by Forbes’ San Francisco offices Thursday. “I compete with Zynga, I compete with surfing the net, I compete with the newspaper.”

Oh, and then there’s Apple.

Look just at the gaming business, however, and Nintendo is doing pretty good. In 2009 Nintendo sold more than 20 million gaming devices. That’s more than Microsoft and Sony put together. Same with the year before.

If you want to find someone doing that kind of volume you’ve got to look outside the game business. At, say, Apple, which is pushing games on the iPhone and iPod touch. Apple sold more 14.1 million iPhones alone during the quarter ending in September.  “Do I think that in the near term they can hurt us more than Microsoft?” Fils-Aime says. “Absolutely.”

Here’s where Nintendo has an edge, Fils-Aime says. The iPod and iPhone are great for casual games like “Angry Birds” that provide a welcome distraction. Games on the Nintendo DS, by contrast, can consume. Fils-Aime admits he’s spent 150 hours playing Nintendo’s Dragon Quest.

He’s right. I have a DS, but I don’t take it everywhere with me so it languishes on a shelf, unused. Instead, the iPhone gets the most usage because it’s with me 24/7. But I don’t really care how long I can play a game or how deep it goes if it’s inconvenient to carry everywhere. Until Nintendo either ports their games to other consoles or creates a phone of their own, they’re going to have an uphill battle.

Catch phrases help to make a company what it is, and I get that. But after time, they become freakin’ annoying, and it becomes almost cliche. Think I’m wrong? How about these classics: Got Milk? Waaazzz up? Where’s the Beef? you get the idea.

So now there’s Apple, and their tagline, “There’s an App for that.” Oy. Well, it’s official, it’s been trademarked. Now everytime someone wants to use that phrase they have to give Apple a nickel, or something like that.

Ugh. I just wish that line would die.

I didn’t listen to Apple’s third quarter results, because a) I’m not an investor and b) I have a life. But I can read press releases as well as any other third grader, so here’s the highlights in Apple’s PR speak:

Apple sold 3.47 million Macs during the quarter, representing a new quarterly record and a 33 percent unit increase over the year-ago quarter. The Company sold 8.4 million iPhones in the quarter, representing 61 percent unit growth over the year-ago quarter. Apple sold 9.41 million iPods during the quarter, representing an eight percent unit decline from the year-ago quarter. The Company began selling iPads during the quarter, with total sales of 3.27 million.

Really though, it can be summed up in these two sentences:

“We’re really pleased to have generated over $4 billion of cash during the quarter,” said Peter Oppenheimer, Apple’s CFO. “Looking ahead to the fourth fiscal quarter of 2010, we expect revenue of about $18 billion and we expect diluted earnings per share of about $3.44”

Holy crap that’s a lot of money. We knew that Apple was sitting on a ton of cash, but now we know that they’re projecting even more money in the coffer in the coming months. That, no matter how you slice it, is impressive.

See that pretty looking store right there? Two years ago, I spent about 6 hours in line at that location, waiting for my brand new iPhone 3G. It’s one of the bigger Apple stores in the area, and it’s in a new mall on the outskirts of town. It’s a bit far out for me, but for the tons of people out in Queen Creek and the surrounding area, it’s the closest Apple store that you can find.

It also has a giant glass storefront like many Apple stores, and a few enterprising thieves decided that was an invitation to make a bit of extra cash. AZ Central has the basics:

Gilbert police are looking for two unidentified young men who stole $9,400 worth of merchandise from the Apple Store in San Tan Village mall in 34 seconds in an early morning break-in Tuesday.

Police said the burglars used two large rocks to smash a large plate-glass door, then stole the merchandise and caused an estimated $30,000 in damage.

The pair were caught on tape by a distant video camera, police said.

An iPhone 4, two iPads, 2 MacBooks and an iPod Touch were among the items stolen, police said.

Now here’s the thing: These devices all have serial numbers and all of them connect to the internet. I’m sure the thieves are going to try to offload these things on Craigslist or eBay, but at some point, someone is going to try to get those things online and when they do, they’re screwed.

Maybe it’s a good idea to beef up security at locations like this, huh?

Just thumb through the choices and queue up Attack of the Show’s search for the ultimate G4 booth babe contest. The video focuses on the assets of the three finalists, three stunning girls who game prodigiously, one of which will be the G4 Booth Babe at the E3 mega event!

For many years now, the experts at G4 have given up to the minute news updates on everything that is popular culture. Coverage of the San Diego and New York Comic Cons, every E3 expo and every technology, Apple product and gaming event in between is found in stunning brilliance on G4 TV and, now, the “G4” App!

There is even a free gaming companion, complete with a Cheats Section, in the “G4” application, so that the X-Box Live sniping can continue with ease.

There is humor, as in “Olivia Bites Kevin’s Foil Wrapped Cucumber,” there is up to the minute news stories on everything dealing with popular culture, as in “Michael Emerson on LOST Finale & Hurley” and of course the computing and technology wisdom the serious geek would expect.

IMPULSIVE Review Grade: A+

The unique quality to the 2010 World Cup has been the droning of a thousand swarms of bees that any soccer fan can hear vibrating their television and surround sound speakers. The cause of the noise is not a killer bee invasion, but rather the South Africa age-old football camaraderie of the Vuvuzela. The Vuvuzela is a long plastic horn that South Africans invoke to cheer on their favorite football teams.

The free “Vuvuzela 2010” App allows for anyone with an iPhone, or iPod Touch, to either appear zealous in watching the great Ivory Coast games, or just plain annoying as the extremely authentic sounding application literally makes the device spit out the loud droning bee swarm sound. Disturb friends and family alike with a portable Vuvuzela occasionally blasting fun that will echo in living rooms and bars, like a form of water torture.

The “Vuvuzela 2010” App has been created for the die-hard football fans in mind. There are a number of color combinations to choose from before sounding the horn, and they represent either the team or the goalkeepers’ colors. Choose the appearance of the Vuvuzela, just like the fans in South Africa and let the sound fly!

IMPULSIVE Review Grade: A

For every amateur, professional and federal UFO hunter, follower, hobbyist and hoaxer out there comes the incredibly adept “UFO camera” application for the iPhone.

The “UFO camera SILVER” App is free in the Apple Store and provides any user with three different images of UFOs for the purpose of doctoring an iPhone picture. Scare the pants off of every family member by revealing that the honeymoon picture, taken at the hotel resort, show a clearly discernable UFO in the clouds just over the Florida palm trees.

The “UFO camera” App is easily mastered and great for reproducing posters and pictures similar to the one Fox Mulder had over his desk in the FBI basement home of the X-Files. Either take a shot, or use one from memory to insert one or more UFOs. The free version allows for three different UFOs and the ability to adjust their size and transparency in the photo.

The UFOs take on the lighting of the photograph’s background and the effect produces realistic alien sightings on earth. The visitors can be seen flying over the pyramids in Egypt, over the billboards in Times Square, or over one’s own backyard barbeque.

Wave to the clouds, click the iPhone camera, and then insert a hazy UFO into the wisps of atmospheric cumulus. The “UFO camera GOLD” App version is $.99 and adds another sixteen kinds of UFOs, as well as the ability to turn, rotate and even add aliens and missiles to the flying disks!

IMPULSIVE Review Grade: A

The “SayWhat” application for the iPhone allows a user to take any picture and make the subject say things with the mouth moving! The “SayWhat Lite” App is free and allows for an unlimited amount of pictures from the iPhone to be used with any of the numerous audio clips.

Take a happy looking dog, with a grin on their cute face, and draw the jaw line. Now the mouth will open at the easy to use jaw and appear to say, “Go ahead…make my day” in Clint Eastwood’s voice.

There are also eight pictures already in the “SayWhat Lite” App, including a couple of cute babies, an old woman, goat and a toad. Make the amphibian resemble Paris Hilton by curving the jaw line with the intuitive touchscreen controls and have it move and say, “That’s hot!”

There are dog barks and of course the exasperated: “Say What?!” sounds built in, and the user can also control the mouth movement’s sensitivity and the speed and pitch of the voice being inserted.

The “SayWhat” App is too much fun and will eliminate one’s spare time! The full version is a mere $1.99 and aside from a ton of more voices, the ability to email the talking picture of your pet muttering, “you’re fired” is added as well.

IMPULSIVE Review Grade: A

The free “Super Bowl Winners” application turns the iPhone into a quick American football history lesson. Bet with friends as to who actually played in the big game from any given year and wow them, and their wallets, with your knowledge!

The “Super Bowl” App gives a bare bones crash course for a brief Super Bowl history, and the winners that played, in list form on the touchscreen of the iPhone. The free version is strictly American football, but for $1.99 the World Series, Stanley Cup, NBA Finals, MLS, MISL, NPSL, ASLII and NAFL championships are given as well.

The Super Bowl history is based around the NFL AFL merger and the first championship game involving both leagues, in 1967. The game wasn’t actually declared the Super Bowl until 1969, and did not give out the Lombardi trophy until after Vince Lombardi died in 1970.

This handy “Super Bowl” App even includes all of the previous NFL Championship winners before the actual Super Bowls, when the AFL was a separate entity, though sadly the AFL’s championships have been left out here.

For the curious fan out there the “Super Bowl” App confirms that Jerry Rice’s San Francisco 49ers won the 1989 Super Bowl, and the 1970 champs were the Kansas City Chiefs. Enjoy!

IMPULSIVE Review Grade: B+

The free “Hostelworld.com” application for the iPhone saves money in regards to hotel rooms, and the precious dollars, Euros and pounds can then be used for fun activities in the scenic cities and locales on earth.

The “Hostelworld.com” App is a portable version of the site that makes web reservations easy and inexpensive, especially when compared to Priceline.com (though I love the William Shatner commercials). This intuitive application compiles over 23,000 hostels and 6,000 budget hotels worldwide and places them in an extremely easy to use search function.

Thumb up the “Hostelworld.com” App and a “Sleep Easy” format displays the vital information: the date arriving, the number of nights staying and the amount of guests to stay are put in with the city or country that one is traversing to.

Going to London? A list of hotels and hostels appear with the rate per person per night and a positive feedback rating percentage. Pressing the touchscreen on All Star Private Studios allows for booking a room there, adding the locale to a list of favorites and reading the details of this affordable establishment in Willesden Green; there are self-catering studio apartments, private rooms, or the minimal hostel type beds there to rent along with free Wifi.

The “Hostelworld.com” App is perfect for the poor college student who wants some culture or even the businessman witha mind for a long weekend off in Amsterdam. Photos, reviews and facilities are all visible as well to get a feel for the place. Travel it up!

IMPULSIVE Review Grade: A

Every day the free “LOST ADDICT” application collects from the net the most up to the minute theories, discussions, videos, podcasts, articles and blogs pertaining to the television anomaly LOST. Many of the web sites that decipher the hidden messages from the episodes, like theoriesonLOST.blogspot.net and others, are presented in order of newest to oldest on a beautiful interface.

Now that the LOST finale is over the debates continue to rage on: many are very pleased with the way the mysterious island and its past, present and future inhabitants have ended up, while others are furious over what transpired in the very last episode; many are trying to figure out just what they interpreted the ending meant, as in real events versus purgatory events and the messiness in between.

The “LOST ADDICT” App has an amazing amount of information filtered down to one tropical looking screen. Read about the comparison between the evil Locke lowering Desmond down to the waterfall and the flashback to Desmond in the hatch when the button was not pressed… “The Hatch and the Cork” by LongLiveLocke, or DarkUFO on Twitter, gives a great explanation for the electromagnetism holding the evil part of the light back in the hatch from the Dharma initiative and the light in the cave! Get LOST now.

IMPULSIVE Review Grade: A+

Finally the horribly inaccurate and, at their best, relatively close in function knock-off Twitter Apps can be discarded! The “Twitter” App is free for the iPhone and comes directly from the folks over at Twitter, and it shows!

The look and feel is that of the legendary website with a touchscreen Apple twist to it. Simply drag a finger down on the “Twitter” App’s screen and the tweets are updated, making for a fun touchscreen pulling and result. Twitter has taken socialization via the Internet by storm since its inception and the amazing text message type interactions create quick and easy ways to provide information, bad humor (at least in my case), links and friendliness.

Good as some of the free Twitter Apps have been lately, none of them have reproduced the awesome interface of the Twitter website, but the officials at the official site have donned it to an official tee. All of the Tweeters’ pictures appear alongside their tweets, just like on the site, and the list forms a picturesque iPhone experience.

The search function in the “Twitter” App is in real-time, and there are great sound effects that come when new Tweets emerge after a refreshing. At the bottom of the screen are the tweets and retweets buttons, the inbox button, the more stuff button and the search button. Exploring the more option shows the My Profile, Favorites, Drafts and the Account & Settings spot so that all of Twitter’s tools are present in the App! This is a must have!

IMPULSIVE Review Grade: A+

Okay, without getting political, those were some effective advertisements, and also made for great eye candy. The “Yes We Camera” application allows for any iPhone wielder to either snap a photo or take a picture from memory and turn it into a stunning “HOPE,” “CHANGE,” or just plain coolly colored poster!

The “Yes We Camera” App is free for the iPhone. It is a bare-bones application that is extremely simple to use and efficient. Thumb up the App and press on the camera at the bottom of the touchscreen to take a picture, or press on the folders symbol to queue up an ideal photo for transformation.

The stark effects of blue, red and white coloring takes hold of any pic and blurs and swirls up a dramatic shot instantly. The “Yes We Camera” App even provides advice for using the effects before downloading the free application from the App Store.

The right image held to a banner of “HOPE” can be surprisingly beautiful and powerful. With that in mind I acted accordingly and set out to work. Thinking that my dog Lucy has what it takes to run for office in New York, I’ve posterized her using the “Yes We Camera” App in order to start up a proper puppy campaign. “Hope” Lucy!

IMPULSIVE Review Grade: A

Look out! Wallets will be getting lighter by the minute due to the ease of access and the convenience of this excellent and effective “Amazon Mobile” App.

The Amazon.com homepage has been shrunken to the iPhone’s screen flawlessly, and the thumb of the user can now realize the intuitive interface and the hosts of books, movies and near infinite other goods.

All of the well-known Amazon.com features are here, including the 1-click buy option, the Amazon user accounts, existing carts, wishlists, payment and shipping options and even the customers’ previous order history. All of Amazon’s great shopping tools are here, so that a user can easily compare prices of books, or read reviews to see if the comedic “Religulous” DVD is worth buying (and it is).

Exclusive to the “Amazon Mobile” App is a new experimental function called Amazon Remembers. With this an owner of an iPhone or iPod Touch can take pictures of things that the mobile consumer might want to buy or find out about. Amazon stores these things for you and if it is a product the “Amazon Mobile” application searches the web to find one similar; when Amazon finds an interesting product it will even email the user to let them know it is available alongside the photo that was taken.

If for nothing else, Amazon.com has proven a great source of information to find out about curious books and movies, and the customer reviews can be very helpful.

IMPULSIVE Review Grade: A

Any avid sports fan must highlight the rare breakthrough goals in hockey, European football or any game really, and the “Bauer Goal Light” application becomes a key part of the celebration.

The free “Bauer Goal Light” App turns any iPhone into a flashing red device for blaring a goal siren! The touchscreen becomes a ruby oscillating light, just like the ones behind the goals at the ice hockey rink, and this thing has one extremely loud sound volume controlled by a realistic looking On and Off switch.

The fact that the “Bauer Goal Light” App features a scratched up stainless steel On and Off switch, where the metal knob must be flipped up with a finger on the iPhone’s screen shows the attention to detail that has been invoked here for the sake of fun.

Want to start a flash mob like no other? Set up dozens or hundreds of iPhone owners with the “Bauer Goal Light” App, have them all converge on the same Manhattan park or street at the same time and then fire off the goal sirens!

Want to have the opposing team know that they do not have home-field advantage? Get as many people as possible to download and use the “Bauer Goal Light” App after every score from the home team. Make noise!

IMPULSIVE Review Grade: A

Kelley Blue Book’s official application for the iPhone is easier to use than their website www.KBB.com, because the “KBB.com” App determines the user’s location without even requiring a zip code!

Aside from the trusted Kelley Blue Book values for motor vehicles, the “KBB.com” App also provides details and research about the cars of interest.

What does a customer do when the slick-haired car salesman is greasing up his moustache and trying to make a case for selling a 2004 Jeep Wrangler, when he does not specify about which of the six different models of sport utility vehicle are actually there for sale?

Whip out the “KBB.com” App and start searching through vehicles in an intuitive fashion that begins with the year, then the make and finally the truck models. Search the 360-degree profile pictures of Wranglers and knock down the value price of the Unlimited Jeep that is gracing the dusty lot.

Kelley Blue Book has long been a car buyers’ best friend when it comes to defining values and achieving bank loans that would not have been accepted if the purchase price exceeded the actual car value.

The fact that the free service is completely portable is astounding, as car buyers can take this with them, but the real amazement is in how much like the information-packed website the “KBB.com” App really is. Save your favorite cars easily and see again what shape the body should actually look like!

IMPULSIVE Review Grade: A+

The Newegg.com online store appears on the portable screen just as beautifully as it does on the larger computer screen. This App is a great method for price checking against the set in stone ads of the evil empire, Bestbuy, which does not always have the best price or buy, and Newegg offers a near infinite supply of all brands of electronics and computer products.

Get the ultimate computer, camera and electronics guide with the free “Newegg Mobile” application for the iPhone. Newegg has long been a haven for computer builders, as they provide all manner of parts from cooling fans, motherboards, chipsets, drives and cables.

The “Newegg Mobile” App features over 1.7 million customer reviews to give real insight into that Bluray player that takes two hours to load a disc, and, like the website, the App gives a great array of pictures and easy shopping searches. There are even special sales that appear on the homepage that mirror Bestbuy ads, though the products and deals often dwarf the much larger competitor.

Easily search, buy, sample and even review the most up to date camcorders, home theater components, gaming devices, software, computer hardware and networking routers on the “Newegg Mobile” App! There is no store like Newegg.

IMPULSIVE Review Grade: A

For instance, if a heavy-footed inconsiderate oaf in a car cuts someone off and nearly causes an accident, then the iPhone user can stick this very loud siren out of the window and scare the living daylights out of the catastrophic transgressor.

The “Police Siren” application is free for the iPhone. The simplest App ever created works in one mode: on. Press the application to turn the iPhone’s screen into a strobe light of flashing red and blue halves, as the mobile speakers send out a brash and perfectly mimicked police siren noise.

Imagine the holiday party that has just started to really kick up the grooves, the alcohol-induced dancing and the loud socialization that equals fun. Then picture the owner of the party’s locale abandoning all sense of reason and fear of neighborhood noise violations to dance the robot with the crowd. Suddenly, from seemingly nowhere the gloriously boisterous police siren emanates from a hidden iPhone and the “Police Siren” App then gives them all a humorous jump through the ceiling.

The uses for the “Police Siren” application can only be limited by one’s own mind. This App is pure fun. Even the police officers could make use of this by allowing their partners to think they left the squad car running with the siren on!

IMPULSIVE Review Grade: B+

The “Greek Gods Free” application literally frees up all of the specifics on over 360 gods and goddesses. If a vague text drops a line about Achelous, simply thumb down the alphabetized list to his name and read about how the “large River God with bull’s head and serpents tail…had a run-in with Heracles over some female, and one of his horns snapped off…and [Plutus] turned it into the Horn of Plenty.”

Looking up ancient Greeks could not be more intuitive as there is a list, a search function and even categories that the iPhone user can summon to find a deity (god or goddess), a demon, a fabulous creature, a legendary mortal, a spiritual being, or even a legendary place from Greek mythology.

Simply press on the heart by the Greek god’s description to make Aphrodite a favorite, for quick access later on, and thumb the envelope to email the lower atmosphere’s air god, aer!

With all of the half serpent, half goat people running amuck in Greek myths it can be hard to decipher gender, but do not worry! The “Greek Gods Free” App has an appropriate male or female symbol next to every name of a fantastic personage!

IMPULSIVE Review Grade: A+

How many times have the lighters been waved in the darkness of a slow tune or before the encore at a music concert? Now the technological age of the 21st century has the rockin’ fans wielding cell phones instead, as every kid from the age of two and up has a phone. Everyone does it, so who stands out?

Wave a customized message of the user’s choosing with the “Blurb” App, as though the iPhone were a ticker signboard stolen from Times Square. This unique application is incredibly simple and powerful: just type in a message and watch it scroll across the touchscreen.

The “Blurb” App gives the user a choice as to how fast the words flash by or crawl by on the screen, and there a good range of different colors to choose from to stand out with a personal flourish.

Ever know that what a student proposed to his professor was totally untrue? Just hold up the iPhone with the blurb “False Information” on it to get the point across and make the professor laugh, as everyone behind your sign remains clueless to what is going on. The “Blurb” App even adjusts the message according to how the user holds the iPhone, vertically or horizontally, just like the text messaging function.

IMPULSIVE Review Grade: A

One does not have to be a devout tree-hugger to know that trees are worth saving, that is, if an earthling enjoys breathing on this planet. Many times the easiest ways to be tree-responsible are the best ways. The free “Greenpeace Tissue Guide” application is a tool for discerning which toilet paper, paper towel, paper napkins and tissue brands contain 100% recycled content and which ones do not.

Making tissue paper products is actually easier when the companies use recycled materials instead of virgin trees, so the easy solution to the daily burning up of forests, for no reasonable reason, is to stop buying the antiquated brands that irresponsibly do not use recycled tissue.

There are actually quite a few brands that refuse to evolve and use recycled materials, and in the New York location, which the App determined in order to give the user information relevant to their locale, about half of the brands in local stores do not use any recycled tissue. Even “Scott Naturals” abuses its own name by killing virgin trees to make up 60% of its product.

The “Greenpeace Tissue Guide” App gives a rating of whether each product should be avoided or is safe, and the details display the percent of post consumer recycled materials, percent of overall recycled materials and the method of the bleaching process, which can also be harmful to the water supply when the paper reaches the ground.

IMPULSIVE Review Grade: A+

Placing glass and plastic in the old Kirby can outside one’s door is simple, and it’s only as much work as putting out the trash. Unfortunately, some people do not have a state-given recycling can, and others in the U.S. do not have a place where empty water bottles can be thrown away in a safe and responsible manner. Lets face it, human beings on this planet, at least in western society, are fairly lazy. If there were no conveniences to recycling too many people would shy away from the practice.

Open up the “iRecycle” application and the practice of recycling can easily become habit, because the App makes recycling ridiculously simple. Just begin to type into the Google-like search bar, with auto-complete so that one does not even have to finish typing the whole word in most cases, and be amazed at the hundreds of thousands of recycling and disposal locales that are nearby.

The App uses the recycler’s location to determine what places are closest to the person wielding the iPhone, and then the myriad nearby locations that accept used printer ink, motor oil and much more show up. Many of the places are ones that the consumers will already be familiar with as many stores such as Best Buy and Staples accept ink cartridges, or refill them, and many auto stores take oil.
