Mac App Store

Mac App Store Over at TUAW TJ Luoma posted commented on developer Brittany Tarvin’s great entry about free software and why free is a misnomer in her opinion.

Brittany found all together 13 reasons why free software isn’t free, seen from a developer’s point of view. Money quote [pun intended]:

People who make software have more to do once your purchase has been made. We are here for you when you run into issues by providing a support team to answer questions, walk you through troubleshooting steps, fix bugs, etc.

TJ also points out the lacking possibility to test-drive software in the App Store via a demo.

Read TJ’s entry at TUAW and Brittany’s original 13 Reasons Why Free Software Is Not Free.
