The great thing about the iPad is its ability to go anywhere an put it anyplace, giving you a clear view of the movie or text that you want to check out. Problem is, there are occasions when it’s easier for you to watch the iPad propped up at an angle, with your hands free to eat a meal or write on a pad of paper. That’s where MoviePeg comes in.
The concept is pretty basic: It’s a pair of foam cutouts, shaped like the letter C, that fit snugly around the sides of your iPad. Then just line them up on the sides at whatever angle you want to view the iPad. It’s simple, really, and it gets the job done. It’s also not expensive, at just $19.99 for the iPad version, and $9.99 for the iPhone.
So is it worth it? Well, I used to take my iPhone everywhere when I went to lunch, and I always found myself holding the phone in one hand while holding a sandwich in the other. Something like this is compact enough to put in your pocket, but strong enough to hold it up. Frankly, I think it’s a great idea. And for the price, there’s not much to complain about.
