  1. I ordered my 3G iphone last saurday in my local O2 store (I live in Ireland) and the assistant told me that the take-up was no better than when they launched the original iphone last March. Yet tere were 2 other people pre-ordering it when I was there!

I asked him was it OK if I waited until saturday to pick it up (I need my old phone for work – so a weekend set-up is required) and he said that there should be no problem. He didn’t know how many iphones were coming into te store though!
