Great New App, Just Don’t Ask for Healthcare – White House iPhone App Released


If it ever feels like we as a country are living in the future, things like this are the reason why.

Regardless of where you stand on his politics, the Obama administration has gone leaps and bounds past the Bush administration in making the White House more web accessible. They’ve got a Twitter feed, a new website, and now, an iPhone app. Take that Palm App Store!

So what’s it do? If you ever want an update on how the country is doing, or what the administration has planned for us in the future, just check on it. There are videos of super-high quality (as pictured above) and news stories updated frequently. It just gives the government that extra layer of transparency that many people have wanted for years, and all for free.
