AT&T Chief Operating Officer Randall Stephenson says the iPhone is “on target to launch in late June.” According to a post on Apple Insider yesterday.
This, of course, casts a shadow of doubt on recent online reports that the iPhone would be delayed.
While an AT&T executive isn’t quite Steve Jobs, he is certainly heads and shoulders above the call center worker who claimed that the iPhone would launch on June 11th (as far as credibility goes at least).
Expect to hear more of this stuff on and off between now and the end of June, when you will most likely be able to get ahold of an iPhone…
