		<description>You could make the display to sleep by issuing the following terminal command. This is what I found from Audio HIjack Pro user manual:

AHKitShouldPermitDisplaySleep: This preference enables the display to sleep while recording. Because display sleep (and waking) can cause skips in recordings, this is off by default.

The example command below for the Terminal will enable display sleep while recording.

defaults write com.rogueamoeba.AudioHijackPro2 AHKitShouldPermitDisplaySleep -bool YES</description>

		<description>that is very strange about Garageband not willing to open MP3 or M4A files...I don&#039;t use Garageband for anything anyway...

I have Sound Studio 3 and it is a god send...it is amazing and once I have hijacked something I just open it in Sound Studio and do my editing there and save it in any format I wish...and add itunes tags etc

I think Audio HiJack and Sound Studio are the bundle that you need...give it a try</description>
