If you're wanting a little more "pro" features - why not get Final Cut Express? iMovie '09 is something that my father-in-law can make an awesome home movie with. That's what its designed for, not semi-professional to professional video work. @fotostuf

I want control to move my music and sound files around... edit with precision... and I like my timeline view. Granted, I don't have this new "improved" version, but I'm not spending a dime until I KNOW it does what I want... you know, what HD does for me now!
