Poll – Should Apple Gazette have a Forum?

I’ve gotten a few emails recently suggesting that we start a forum here at Apple Gazette. I think it’s a good idea, as long as you guys are interested in participating. The behind the scenes team can put one together in a relatively short period of time, but I want to make sure it’s something you would actually want to use before they go through that.

SO – Please answer the poll below and let me know if you’re interested in getting a forum going here. If you are – maybe (just maybe, no promises) we can have it going by Macworld.

  1. Absolutely!

I think a forums here would be great. This way, we could ask questions, follow others posts, etc. Commenting on the blog is okay, but it is hard to post an opinion or ask questions that way.

    Just my $0.02!

  2. Well, good to a point. But surely not just another place for the fanboys to slag each other off? Decent mature balanced discussion on developments would be nice but anything else would be just another venting ground for lonely machead’s 🙂

  3. Better not to have one – since we have many forums already where non-level-headed fanbois go berserk.

The comments system you have in place works nicely I guess.
May be you could reformat the page a bit where side by side we have two divs where you show the original article in the first div and the comments in the second div. …
