Getting Ready for Macworld 2008

Table of Contents

So, I’m gearing up for Macworld 2008, and I want to give everyone an update on how it’s going to work here at Apple Gazette during that week. I’m going to be at Macworld from the 14th through the 17th. I’ll be flying in on the 13th, and I would imagine most blogging, except for the Keynote, will take place in the evenings after I get back from the floor that day.

Of course, I’ll try to update throughout the day, but any blogging of length will most likely happen during the evening hours.

I do plan on Twittering the entire time as well on my iPhone, so that is another way to keep up with the latest happenings, and I would imagine there will be some things that are Twittered that won’t be making it into final blog posts.

I have a few companies I’m supposed to me, and I’m going to be handing out business cards and the like to other companies to help expand Apple Gazette’s exposure.

I’m going to attempt to get some Apple Gazette T-shirts made before I head out for the trip, so I should be pretty easy to spot – feel free to say hi if you’re going to be in attendance…but I apologize in advance if my eyes are glazed over. I’ve never been on a plane, in San Francisco, or at Macworld before – and it may be too much for my little brain to take in at once. It could explode.

So if you haven’t already, you can head over to my Twitter page and start following along. I plan to add the Twitter widget to the site during Macworld as well to keep everyone up to date on what’s happening.

  1. Hey Mike,

I’m really excited for you! Macworld, San Fransisco and Flying all with the same stone! I hope it’s a great trip for you. Since I won’t be there to meet you, I’ll tell you now I think you’re doing a great job with the blog! Keep up the great work!
