As an avid reader, I prefer a real analog book to the iPhone. I find that I spend almost as much time flipping "pages" as actually reading them. I have not been able to get my hands on an actual kindle yet to try it, so I can't speak to that experience. It does seem that even the slightly larger screen area you describe, would be a huge improvement to me. The ability to carry several books onto a bus, plane, or train is extremely enticing to me.

@macandbeyond

If you enjoy the reading experience on the iPhone than, certainly, I say go for it. I actually don't care all that much for the reading experience on the Kindle iPhone reader - and would rather buy the print book and read it than buy the Kindle version and read it only on the iPhone.

I actually like the Iceberg Books much better on the iPhone if its going to be your only reading device (although those apps can be expensive)...but it's just a matter of personal preference.

Thanks for the good review.
I also agree with its high price now.
I would have it right away if the price was a little bit cheaper.
And, what do you think about just using kindle for iphone app and getting books from kindle store instead of buying another ebook reader and carrying both iphone and kindle.
I have read some books on kindle for iphone app and it was just fine...
so, I am not still convinced on getting kindle for my self......
