"Doesnt Leopard already do this? kind of, sort of…. if you minimize the window it places an icon on the right side of the dock. but I do miss that feature of windows also."
Sort of. But if working with, for example, three documents, one a data spreadsheet, one a list of notes, and one a final draft (I use NeoOffice, so it's all one app), and need to switch between those constantly, it gets quite uncomfortable...

The naming of 'Snow Leopard' is a very poor marketing move by Apple. It seems to suggest an admission that Leopard isn't as stable, efficient or secure as it should be.

What's the marketing slogan? 'Lets make Leopard work properly'.

@Reno

I think three of them did, yes. It was very painful - and I'm still in shock.

"Finally they do something that users have been asking for for years, stop with the new features and make it just work."
I agree.
Personally, I'm hoping for a dock option to show open windows, instead of just open apps - that is the only thing I miss since switching from Windows. But I'm pretty sure it won't happen... ;(
