Mobile Me showing signs of life…

Table of Contents

Immediately after the WWDC 2008 Keynote many users flocked to Me.com, the home of the upcoming Mobile Me service from Apple, only to find that there was nothing there.

In fact, the Me.com domain was completely offline until recently. It is now forwarding to Apple’s Mobile Me page on Apple.com.

More than that, however, some @me.com email addresses are beginning to come online for existing .Mac users. Mine still isn’t working, but Drew’s (from TV Jab) is working just fine.

.Mac services are still working fine, and there is no indication of just when everything is going to switch over to the new Mobile Me branded content, but it is assumed that the Mobile Me service will launch slightly before, or at the same time, as the iPhone 2.0 software launch next month.
